New Trier's Marketing and Merchandising in Fashion students created another impressive, colorful display for Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center as part of the class' semester-based project.
With the help of professional visual merchandiser Amanda Wolfson, the students installed the outdoor display in between The North Face and Gap stores on April 27 after months of planning and collaboration. Students were responsible for the concept, design, instillation, styling, and even the hand-painted backdrops utilized throughout the display, which featured color-blocking and looks inspired by this spring's trends.
Along with this hands-on project, topics in Marketing and Merchandising in Fashion include an overview of the history of fashion, trends and movement in fashion, fashion business fundamentals, fashion promotion, special events, and global fashion! Great Job, Trevs!
