OPEN TO JUNIORS AND SENIORS PREREQUISITE: NONE
This double-section, yearlong, linked course is built around the concept of total wellness and is designed to address the physical, social and emotional well-being of all participants. One section will focus on core strength, flexibility, body alignment, coordination, and concentration through the practice of Pilates-based exercise and the other section will focus on the Yoga practices of B.K.S. Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois. At the end of the semester, students in both sections will switch focus. Students enrolled in this course may not be released for seasonal participation on a New Trier athletic team.
