Sophomore Activities


Sophomore Activates is the practical application of skills learned in the freshman curriculum as well as a continued development of individual fitness, team and individual sports and living a healthy lifestyle. It is our goal to have students uses their knowledge of movement, exercise and diet to continue to grow and mature. They put into action concepts learned to help themselves become; more active healthier young adults, have increased neuromuscular control and make better choices in diet and exercise. This is done through integrating new information into their growing knowledge of a healthy life style. Students are evaluated in a multifaceted way. They are tested on knowledge of activities, movements in activities, comprehension of strategies, and practical application.
