The Athletic Strength & Conditioning class provides an opportunity for students to develop beneficial training habits to allow them to maximize their physical potential. A typical day includes a full body warm-up, a major muscle group strength training program, and an auxiliary resistance workout tailored to the specifications of every athlete. Body awareness, injury prevention, and nutrition are just a small part of the wide range of topics covered throughout the year. Logs are used to chart, evaluate, and monitor progress throughout the year.
"Being in Strength and Conditioning allows me to free up much of my after school time by getting a quick and efficient workout done during the school day." Ben, Class of 2014
"The class is important for off-season athletes looking to gain strength and flexibility, and in-season athletes to get a workout in to prep for games and practices" Drew, Class of 2014
