The primary purpose of the Records Office is the collection, maintenance, dissemination and retention of students' academic information. We provide many services related to student records as described below.
The Records Office serves as the initial point of contact for all new students registering at New Trier. All aspects of the admission process - from placement testing to course selection - are coordinated through this office.
The Records Office provides official and unofficial transcripts for both alumni and current students. We work closely with Post-High School Counseling to provide transcripts for current seniors for the college application process.
The Records Office also processes and distributes report cards on a quarterly basis. Report cards for the 1
marking periods are given directly to students in advisery; final report cards are mailed home.
Other key functions of the Records Office include:
- Verification of full-time attendance for participation in non-New Trier Driver Ed programs
- Certification of completion of non-New Trier Driver Ed programs
- Verification of GPA for "Good Student Discount" for auto insurance
- Completion of work permit application for students under 16 years of age
