On Saturday, April 28, New Trier Township District 203 and the six sender public school districts that it serves are hosting a free Innovation and Tech Expo for all parents and teachers who wish to attend. The conference-style event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the newly designed learning spaces of New Trier High School's Winnetka Campus, located at 385 Winnetka Ave.
Attendees will have the opportunity to select from a variety of breakout sessions led by township teachers, staff, and students who will inform participants about how innovations in technology are impacting the learning experience. Session types include Explore and Create, Interactive Playground, Listen and Learn, and Participate and Share, and span from "Integrating Social Media into Literacy" to "Basics: Parental Visibility, What Parents Should Know About Apple Devices."
Registration is not required, but highly recommended.
