On Saturday, Feb. 24, New Trier High School won the 2018 IHSA Boys Swimming and Diving Team State Championship: a record 24th state swimming title. Way to go, Trevs!
The final 400 Yard Freestyle Relay resulted in a 3:01.29 finish, giving the Trevians 161 points and securing the state title. New Trier also won the 200 Medley Relay (1:30.13), and senior Charlie Scheinfeld became just the third swimmer to win the 100-yard breaststroke three times at the state finals with a time of 53.72.
