The Multimedia Language Lab is a computer/audio-visual lab dedicated to the teaching of modern and classical languages.
Equipped with a main teaching console and thirty student computer stations, the Multimedia Language Lab provides state-of-the art technology for mastering foreign languages. From the main console a teacher can monitor and control student computers. The teacher can also broadcast an array of audio-visual materials to student stations: CDs, DVDs, videos, as well as the teacher's computer screen.
Student stations are equipped with virtual recorders for recording student voices to digital .wav files. These files can then be collected at the main console and burned to a CD. Microsoft ® Word documents, Microsoft ® PowerPoint presentations, as well as many other types of files, can be sent back and forth between the main teacher's console and the students' computers.
