- Freshman Mixer on Oct. 3.

EKG screenings Oct. 3
New Trier High School is pleased to offer EKG screenings on Oct. 3 to all freshman students through the Max Schewitz Foundation. These screenings have brought to light cardiac conditions to some students who required follow-up procedures. Screenings are optional and take place during Kinetic Wellness classes. There is a $15 charge to offset the costs. Please click
to volunteer to help with the screenings. We need 70 volunteers. Training will be held in the evening of Oct. 2.
Thanks to all who have volunteered. We have enough people from those who filled out volunteer forms.
We will host three Parent Coffees per year. This is a time to meet other Class of 2022 parents and participate in a discussion of a relevant topic. Our Freshman Advisery Co-Chairs, Sue Ellen Haak and Mark Howard, will lead our first topic -- vaping.
The coffee will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 16 at the home of Kathy Kennedy, 1633 Highland Ave., Wilmette. Click
for a copy of the flier. If you have questions, contact Jessica Johnston at
or Michelle Kane at
Don't want to hit Panera or Dunkin Donuts before school for Advisery Breakfast? New Trier Food Service is happy to offer Classroom Catering for Advisery Breakfasts on Fridays. Donuts, bagels, fruit and more are provided. Students may pick up before 8 a.m. in the cafeteria and use their student ID for payment. You may place an order using the Classroom Catering order form available on the New Trier Food Services website. Click
