Congratulations to the 2017 Illinois High School Women's Lacrosse Association All-State selections for New Trier.
Seniors Katherine Gjertsen, Kyra LaMotte, Isabelle Sennett and Emma Tomlinson. Junior Courtney Kaskey and sophomore Lucy Murray all earned All-State honors. Freshman Charley Meier was named Honorable Mention All-State.
Gjertsen is a three-time All-State selection and is currently second all-time in New Trier history in goals, points scored and draw controls and will be playing at Stanford next year. Sennett is a two-time All-State selection and second on the team in goals scored and will be continuing her lacrosse career at Amherst. Tomlinson was Honorable Mention All-State last season and will be playing at Tufts. LaMotte leads the team in caused turnovers and is heading to play lacrosse at Furman next year.
Kaskey is second on the team in draw controls and caused turnovers as a middie. Despite only playing 14 games due to an injury, Murray is second on the team in points and a league leader in assists, and was All-Conference last year. Meier is third on the team in draw controls and caused turnovers as a freshman.
