After going up 3-1, New Trier was not able to stop 10 unanswered goals by Loyola, losing 18-6 at home.
The Trevians played solid defense in the first half, but after the Ramblers tied the game 3-3 midway through the half, Loyola was able to control the ball and New Trier played defense for much of the remainder of the half. The Ramblers looks the lead 4-3 with 6:22 left in the half. A late goal by the Ramblers with 17 seconds left in the half gave them a 6-3 lead and momentum.
Loyola scored three goals quickly in the first two minutes and never let up, winning 13 of 16 draws. The Trevs finally got on the board to make it 11-4. Loyola went on to control the ball and New Trier was not able to mount a comeback. Lucy Murray had 2 goals and an assist, and Courtney Kaskey had 2 goals. Clare Mulhern caused two turnovers and Sophie Randle led the team with three ground balls.
