Our family is new to the area. We would appreciate being contacted by the Transfer Family Group to assist us in getting acquainted with New Trier.

Please select multiple positions for consideration if you wish.

CLASS OF 2023 BOARD MEMBERS (4-year terms) 

 (2 persons)

  • Recruit Class Board members and fill other volunteer positions.
  • Conduct monthly meetings of the NTPA Class Board to discuss items of interest.
  • Represent the class of 2022 on ad hoc committees as requested.
  • Rise to become Co-Presidents of the NTPA Executive Board during senior year.

  • Assist the Co-Chairs in their responsibilities as requested.
  • Organize Parent Party social event during Freshman year.
  • Rise to become NTPA Senior Class Co-Chairs during the final year when Co-Chairs become Co- Presidents.


  • Prepare and distribute minutes of NTPA Board meetings.
  • Write occasional notes and letters as requested.  

  • Maintain class bank accounts and handle all class financial transactions.
  • Prepare reports for monthly NTPA Class Board meetings.



  • Manage and update class webpage.
  • Write and/or approve all communications with families.


  • Plan and execute parent programs for the class.


  • Schedule and coordinate three parent coffees throughout the year.


  • Arrange for parent volunteers at several school events each year.

  • Arrange menu and organize volunteers to serve breakfast snack to students one morning of exam week each semester.


  • Organize volunteers to collate and stuff packets for 8th grade Academic Life meeting Freshman year.
  • Coordinate parent-teacher conferences Sophomore/Junior year.
  • Senior year at-large.

CLASS OF 2023 NON-BOARD OPPORTUNITIES You can select multiple positions.

  • Provide parents with informal recap of adviser room activities twice each year.  


  • EKG Screening (Fall)


  • Open your home for coffee and conversation. There needs to be room for up to 60 people and plenty of parking.
