• Board Welcomes Two New Members, Elects Officers
    The New Trier High School District 203 Board of Education welcomed two new members and elected new officers. The Board also said farewell to two outgoing members who are leaving after eight years of service each.

    Sixty-seven New Trier seniors are recent recipients of the Seal of Biliteracy, an award granted by the Illinois State Board of Education and given by New Trier High School's Modern and Classical Languages Department in recognition and celebration of students who demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English and one or more other languages
  • Chinese language students achieve success at 11th Annual Great Lakes Speech Contest
    New Trier Chinese language students participated in the 11 th Annual Great Lakes Speech Contest on Sunday, April 28th. The contest, sponsored by the Confucius Institute of Valparaiso University (CIVU), invited high school students from Illinois and Indiana to demonstrate their skills in the Chinese language on the Valparaiso University campus.
  • New Trier inducts 39 members into National Chinese Honor Society
    The New Trier Chinese Language Program inducted 39 members into the National Chinese Honor Society on Thursday, April 25. In addition to excelling academically, inductees expanded their Chinese language practice beyond the walls of the Chinese classroom.
