For the Class of 2021:

We have received inquiries about when to expect district ACT results and would like to share the following:

  • Scores are released 2 weeks at the earliest or 8 weeks at the latest.
  • Exams are scored randomly in bunches - not alphabetically, by state, schools, etc.
  • Score reports will be sent to the school, and will also be sent to students' homes.
  • At some point, scores should be entered into the student Naviance account - usually in June or July.

For the Class of 2020:

  • Email your PHSC directly if you need to request a transcript for newly filed college or scholarship applications.
  • Monitor your email for important updates from colleges. We have begun to see some colleges delaying the May 1 enrollment deadline by 2-4 weeks to allow more time for students to make their final decision.
  • Check college websites for virtual admitted student events and open houses to help you through your decision making process.
  • Focus on class work and we'll be here to support you through your PHSC process.
  • Trouble accessing Naviance? Email Ms. Perlongo perlongt@nths.net or Ms. Aziz abdulazl@nths.net for help.
  • Your counselor is here to help as you navigate the final decision making process! Email us when you have questions or if you would like to set-up a Zoom video or audio conference.
  • Check this webpage for latest updates! We do not want to flood your inbox with notifications.

For the Class of 2021:

  • During remote learning, please monitor your email for details on how we will conduct student and family appointments.
  • If you currently have a pending appointment scheduled, your PHSC will be emailing you a few days prior to confirm and discuss our options for meeting.
  • If you do not currently have an appointment scheduled and would like to check our availability, please email your PHS counselor.
  • Utilize the resources already distributed to students and parents such as the PHS Counseling Handbook (aka "binder"), Four Steps to the Future, both accessible for download under the "Document Links" section of our webpage.
  • Trouble accessing Naviance? Email Ms. Perlongo perlongt@nths.net or Ms. Aziz abdulazl@nths.net for help.
  • Looking for things to do over break? Take virtual tours of college campuses and check their website for other distance-visit offerings like video admission sessions and open houses.
  • If you have questions about upcoming SAT and ACT, refer to their websites for updates- https://pages.collegeboard.org/natural-disasters and ACT https://www.act.org/content/act/en/covid-19.html
