Greetings from the NTPA Class of 2020 Board!
We hope that senior year has gotten off to a good start for your students. As they look ahead to next year and beyond, please note these upcoming events:
New Trier Financial Aid Night: Thursday, September 26, 7:00-8:30 pm, Cornog Auditorium (Northfield)
This session, presented by the Post-High School Counseling Department (PHSC), is designed to help students and parents learn more about the need-based financial aid process. Scott Seibring, director of financial aid at Illinois Wesleyan University, will present the process and some of its idiosyncracies.
NTPA Senior Parent Coffee: Wednesday, October 2, 9:30-11:00 am (see your email for location)
Join other senior parents for coffee and conversation! Jill Cervantes, head of the PHSC Department, will be the featured speaker. Jill will provide a brief overview of the first semester senior year and how we can best support our students as they work their way through essay edits, applications, college visits, gap year plans, and more.
We encourage you to find a way to get involved with the NTPA this year. To stay current on upcoming events and take advantage of parent opportunities:
